The Initiative
HeartSupport’s goal is to build a place where people can come exactly as they are and explore healing. They provide relevant resources to an increasingly digital generation and them to give back and help others grow stronger together. Every day they are helping men and women brave their wounds, find purpose, and discover healing. Their goal is to create a legacy of life-transformation, freeing people from suicide, addiction, abuse, and mental health issues while empowering them with the realization they are loved unconditionally and supported by a community that believes in them. It’s long been our goal at The Veterans Project to not just create awareness through storytelling but to generate an actionable process where our community gets the much needed mental health resources it needs to find healing. We often hear the mention of that number “22 a day,” but what are we doing to put an end to that? Through our relationship with Heart Support, we believe that restoration is just around the corner.
